2023 SPRING MEETING
The Spring Meeting is held in the first part of the year at different locations around the state. The all day meeting includes the annual business meeting, a lecture by a nationally known teacher, demonstrations by SC teachers, show and share and a luncheon. Vendors from around the state offer fabrics and tools needed for classes and projects.

Lee Chappell Monroe
Lee has been creating since she first discovered crayons at age 2! She’s from a family of quilters and learned everything from her mother, affectionately known as The Guru. She loves all things fabric—from zippy pouch to queen size quilt—and everything in between. With a love of color and bold graphic shapes, Lee enjoys designing patterns and teaching all types of classes, while sharing her adventures on her blog, www.maychappell.com. She is a trained graphic designer which shows in her clean aesthetic. Her work has appeared in multiple publications. Lee is a BERNINA Ambassador, as well as a Creative Spark and Craftsy instructor. Lee is the author of Jump into Sewing, published by C&T Publishing. She is an active member of the Triad Modern Quilt Guild. Lee lives in beautiful North Carolina with her dog, Agnes Piper.
This Dresden consists of two full Dresden circles on top of one another. Students will learn to cut and create Dresden’s, as well as how to construct a quilt with on point blocks. Best for confident beginners and intermediate quilters.

All Squared Up
All Squared Up Quilt: Students will learn about half square triangles, square in a square and flying geese units. Best for intermediate and advanced quilters. All Squared Up Quilt Pattern also includes supply list. Pattern cost is $12 and be purchased in advance or day of class. One block kits are available for $30 if students are interesting in purchasing.
